Make Sure You Have Protection
In protecting your medical practice and all you have worked for, do you have protection?
Protection comes in many different forms, but most notably insurance.
If your practice does not have the right insurance plan in place, it can leave you and all you have vulnerable.
That is why it would be smart to see what medical disability insurance doctors tend to go towards.
Having the right medical disability insurance plan can go a long way in protecting you.
Stop for a moment and think what you would do if you were hit with a major illness or injury. Could your practice go on or would you have to close your doors for a while? What if you had to shut down for good?
By having reliable insurance covering your practice, you are in better shape.
So, if you do not have the proper coverage as of now, take the time to get insured and protect your livelihood.
How is Your Customer Service?
Even if you have the right insurance, what if some or many patients end up deciding to go elsewhere?
There can be a myriad of reasons for such events to take place. Of most notice would be when your customer service efforts are lacking.
That said it is good to review your customer service on a regular basis.
Among the things to focus in on:
- Are you providing patients with top-notch service? If not, how can you improve this?
- Are some or many patients having continual billing issues with your practice?
- Do patients feel as if they are only a number when they come in? That is they are not getting the personal service they deserve?
- Do you do a good job of answering patient questions be they in-person or over the phone?
By making sure you give your patients the best service, there is less of a chance many of them will go elsewhere.
Finally, look around at your practice and the conditions patients are forced with.
Given the coronavirus outbreak in 2020, more patients are fixated on their well-being.
